ITW Performance Polymers – Chockfast® & Adhesives

TIG marine stations around the world have been using ITW’s market leading Chockfast® products for decades.

Alignment and chocking are critical operations in new buildings and repairs. TIG marine stations around the globe have trained and certified technicians with vast experience designing alignment and chocking solutions for customers across all industries. TIG marine supplies various types of epoxy grouting and repair solutions to suit the needs of Marine, Offshore and Industrial installations.

Chockfast® Pourable Chocking Compounds

The Chockfast® Foundation System of epoxy resin compounds provides all of the advantages necessary for superior performance including fast, convenient installations; precise, reliable alignment; resistance to thermal growth under hot-running machinery; rapid curing with negligible shrinkage; and maximum versatility for dependable solutions with the most difficult installation problems.

Chockfast® Orange

Conveniently pourable, two-component, structural epoxy “chock” that replaces tediously fitted steel shims (or steel chocks) assuring intimate contact with machined or un-machined equipment bedplates. Virtually 100% effective bearing underneath supported equipment.

Chockfast® Black

Black Pourable, two-component, deep-pour structural epoxy “chock” used to support and maintain permanent frame alignment under hot-running machinery; allows free flow of air between equipment and foundation to lower foundation temperatures and minimize upward thermal growth; virtually 100% effective bearing underneath supported equipment; normally poured in thickness’ of 1-1/4”—2-1/2”.

Chockfast® Red SG

Red SG Chockfast Red SG is a three component, high strength, 100% solids epoxy grouting compound which is used to grout large machinery and to support soleplates in all types of foundation designs with clearances as little as 25mm (1″). Chockfast Red SG has extremely high physical properties and negligible shrinkage, making it ideal for final positioning of critically aligned equipment within close tolerances.

Chockfast® Gray

Highly flowable, two-component, thin pour “chock” designed to maintain proper alignment and support of machinery and equipment; able to withstand severe industrial environments with a high degree of both physical and thermal shock resistance.

Phillybond TA-30

Tile Adhesive – Adhesive and Grout – QPL – MIL-A-24456. Phillybond TA-30 a two component, high tack strength epoxy for general bonding and structural applications. TA-30 adhesive will support 5 lbs per sq. ft. on overhead or vertical surfaces while curing.

Phillyclad 1775/620TS

Phillyclad 1775/620TS is an excellent general purpose, nontoxic laminating resin system for FRP application requiring rapid and thorough wet out. Excellent for use as a thin laminate protective coating over steel or wood and fabrication of molded fiberglass structures or components.

Phillybond® Orange – Flexible Stern Tube Sealant

PHILLYBOND ORANGE is a two component, epoxy paste, developed for sealing exposed edges of CHOCKFAST in stern tube applications. It is resistant to sea water and lubricating oils. It has good adhesive strength and flexibility over a wide temperature range. Because of its paste-like consistency, it can be applied in thick, vertical applications without sagging, yet is easy to trowel and provide a smooth finished surface.

Phillymastic TG-7B – for LNG/LPG Tank Installation

Phillymastic TG-7B is a two-component, load-bearing, epoxy mastic specifically developed for LNG/LPG tank or container system installations where shimming or void-filling of supporting components is required. TG-7B provides excellent load-bearing and adhesive properties at cryogenic temperatures assuring evenly distributed loads across all tank supports. This mastic is available as either a pourable liquid or a trowelable paste. Both can be mixed either by hand or with automatic dispensing equipment.

Repair Compounds

ITW Repair Compound

A 2-component, 100% solids, epoxy paste developed specifically for filling, smoothing and fairing applications on metals, plastics (FRP), wood or masonry. Smooth consistency and excellent non-sagging properties. Excellent resistance to fresh water, salt water, crude and refined oils, gasoline, jet fuel. Provides a tough, uniform surface that will readily accept any top coating or lining. The cured epoxy is readily sanded or ground. The excellent feathering properties facilitate achieving a precision surface profile or smoothness. Contains no metallic fillers.
